Great class! The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and communicated well each step of the way. Did great at communicating the “whys” behind the drills and presenting the skills in a way that made sense.

I came into class as a beginner and was a little nervous, but Chris was so friendly and encouraging. He did an amazing job teaching with a comprehensive view. And, having both Chris and Steve supervising our range time was incredibly beneficial to help us improve in different areas quickly. I am now more confident and eager to continue to practice in the future.

Excellent class that lays down a firm foundation for using an AR15 or similar rifle for personal and home defense. The drills are excellent for building confidence in making realtime adjustment for close range mechanical offset and for rapid defensively accurate follow up shots.

My wife and I took the class to be acquainted with basic knowledge and handling of firearms for the purpose of protection. Chris’ instruction was very helpful in forming a basic structure in thinking about the use of firearms for defense. Chris and Steve were a great team and guided each of us personally. I never thought I could feel safe around guns, but I did with trustworthy instructors of character and competence! Highly recommended.

What a fun and valuable class! Learning how to use the AR-15 in a defensive shooting situation is a great skill to learn and develop. Chris did a great job giving guidance throughout the class. I learned a lot about my gear setup and will be making some adjustments! I highly recommend Chris Yeomans Academy if you want to learn how to become proficient using an AR-15 defensively.

Chris and Steve did a great job speaking; they seemed very professional yet made the presentation interesting. They gave lots of good information, especially for a newbie like me. I would love to take more classes to learn more. I also enjoyed the shooting range portion. They were very patient yet encouraging. I think a small group for the shooting range is the best because otherwise you could be there forever and not get much time to shoot. Wonderful job! Totally recommend their class!!
